On Thursday 19th of May, The Support People held ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ events in Ballarat and Bendigo to raise money for the Cancer Council. Both events provided a fantastic opportunity for clients to join in as well as the community to meet The Support People and raise money for a fantastic cause. Each event boasted fantastic food and drink, with prize draws from the raffles in each location.
Featured below was a fantastic worker (Sandy) in Ballarat with their client (Venetia) ending the event with some great prizes from the raffle. In Bendigo the local news (Win News) stopped by to interview one of our fantastic workers Andrea about the event and its fantastic impact for the community and Cancer Council. Altogether both locations raised a massive total of $3,545.15!
